J&J Contractors, Inc. was contracted under their ID/IQ contract with the Massachusetts Air National Guard to construct the Weapons Maintenance Facility at the Barnes Air Force Base in Westfield, MA.
The Weapons Maintenance Facility included the construction of a hanger bay area and miscellaneous support areas.
The areas included a maintenance shop, a repair shop, and a paint shop. This is where much of the “in-shop” work on the electronic components and weapons systems on the A-10 Thunderbolt are performed.
