J&J Contractors, Inc. was the general contractor selected for the interior renovation of a building on the campus of the University of Massachusetts – Boston into the Venture Development Center.
The Venture Development Center project consisted of the interior renovation and fit-out of an existing cafeteria space into the new 18,000SF Research and Development Laboratory/Office – on the 3rd floor of a five story occupied building.
The University of Massachusetts – Boston’s Venture Development Center boasts a state of the art audio visual system which includes a 103” Plasma television. The installed plasma television was the largest to date at the completion of the project.
The space is rented by private research and development firms. The state of the art laboratory and audio visual system allows them to conduct laboratory experiments and utilize the laboratories broadcast capabilities to transmit the research visuals.
