Project Description:

J&J Contractors, Inc. was selected through the State of Massachusetts DCAM competitive bid program as the general contractor for the new Wood End Elementary School in Reading, MA.

The new Wood End Elementary School is two stories tall with 58,000 SF of floor space. The school is completely constructed with glue laminated structural beams, columns, and decking.

The construction of the school included numerous classrooms, restrooms, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, a library, and the related on-site site work (i.e. parking, landscaping, leisure areas, etc. ).
