J&J Contractors, Inc. and Reinhardt Associates worked with the United States Navy to complete this design/build addition and renovations to the U.S. Navy Liberty Center in Groton, CT.
The Liberty Center Renovations consisted of the renovations of the NBS recreation center building and the addition of a pre-engineered building. The renovations included adding partisan walls to create spaces for new offices, computer rooms, game rooms, and bathrooms.
The addition comprised a theatre, TV room, communications room, and a new mechanical room.
J&J Contractors, Inc. self-performed the concrete work and the site work which included connecting utilities to existing lines, removal of ledge and unsuitable materials, line stripping, adding sidewalks, loam, and seeding.
