J&J Contractors, Inc. was contracted by Mainstream Global to be the construction manager for the Levis Building Renovations in Lawrence, MA.
The 40,000 SF interior renovation of the Levis historical mill building in Lawrence was done in a fast track delivery method. The four story renovation included the installation of a new elevator and new staircases to bring the building up to the current MA building codes.
The completely wood building was sandblasted to restore the natural look to the floor and exterior brick masonry wall.
During the renovation the building was occupied by three different tenants. J&J developed a schedule that included completing three phases (moving a tenant one at a time) over the project’s 4 month duration.
