Project Description:

J&J Contractors Inc. was contracted by the US Army Corps of Engineers for the Design and Construction of a new Armed Forces Reserve Center located in Rutland, Vermont.

The project included the construction of a new 63,000 sq. ft. Training Building / Multi-Purpose Classroom Building, 7,400 sq. ft. Vehicle Maintenance Building (AMSA/OMS),  3,100 sq. ft.  Unheated Vehicle Storage Building, and a 1,092 sq. ft. Wash Rack.

The project also included organizational parking, antiterrorism measures and building information systems. 

The project is located in a rural area in Vermont and J&J Contractors, Inc. self-performed all site and concrete related activities.

This project has a goal of LEED Silver Certification.
